Altar Servers

It is an ancient tradition in the liturgical life of the church, indeed, a great privilege of the faithful to serve Holy Mass. This is so because serving at the altar contributes to the whole community’s participation in a reverent worship of God. At Saint Catherine’s altar servers  assist at Sunday and Holy Day Masses and at other times when special services happen at the parish. Their service and commitment of the altar servers contributes greatly to the solemnity and beauty of the Liturgy at the Parish and we are grateful for all the time and energy bring to this work. Altar servers are men and women, boys and girls in 4th grade or higher.

We ask the altar servers to commit their time, talent and good humor to this parish community with reverence and respect. Father Jordan provides training to become familiar with the various liturgical services.
